What is Ola Mundo?
Ola Mundo is the world’s 1st Remote AAC service, allowing children to communicate with their loved ones even when they are away.
What devices are currently supported?
Currently Ola Mundo supports iPad (2nd generation and above) and iPad Mini.
Can I customize Ola Mundo?
Ola Mundo was built to address the different skills and needs of our children.
You can change the symbol size based on your child’s needs. You can also add your own symbols, edit the current ones and even record your own voice.
Where is the ‘settings’ button?
The setting button is located in the top left corner of the screen. The settings section will be locked to prevent accidental clicks, to unlock it, simply tap & hold the lock icon for about a second.
I forgot my password, How can I retrieve it?
Open Ola Mundo on your iPad. On the login screen, click on ‘Forgot my password”. An email will be sent to your registered email with reset instructions.
Can strangers contact my child without me knowing about it?
No. Every account is strictly limited to the family only. Only family members that were added by the account owner can communicate with each other.
One of our family members lives abroad. can he/she use Ola Mundo to communicate with us?
Yes. The family member will have to download Ola Mundo on his/her device and log in with the account details.
What languages are currently supported?
Ola Mundo supports English and Hebrew. More languages will be added in the future.
I can not find Ola Mundo in the app store. Why?
During the launch phase, Ola Mundo is only available in selected countries.
We’ll be adding more countries very soon.
Does Ola Mundo require Internet connection?
The initial setup of the application requires internet connection.
Once you’re logged in, internet connection is not required.
However, some features (such as remote communication) will be disabled.
Where can I see all the messages that my child had sent and received in Ola Mundo?
As the owner of the account, you can change profile and log in under your child’s details. In this state, you’ll be able to see all the history chat transcripts.
How much does it cost?
Feel free to check out Ola Mundo using our free mode which lets you send and receive your first few messages at no cost.

Is there a free option?
Yes! You’re welcome to experience Ola Mundo using our free mode.
The free option is limited to the first few messages. Once you reach the limit you’ll be able to choose your desired subscription plan.
I only have one iPad, can I still use Ola Mundo?
Yes. Ola Mundo can be used in a ‘side-by-side’ mode as well as in ‘remote mode’.
The side-by-side mode can be used when your child is next to you and you’re both using one iPad device.
Do I have to pay for every new device I add?
No. Your Ola Mundo account can be logged in to from multiple devices at the same time. Your account is a family account and every family member can log in from his own device.
Can I pay with PayPal/check/wire transfer?
Currently, the subscription can only be made through the Appstore.

How many family members can I add?
Every account can add up to 5 family members.
For larger accounts, please contact us.
Can my wife and I use the same device to communicate with our child?
Yes. Few family members can share a single device by switching the logged-in profile. Click on ‘Settings’ –> Unlock by entering your password –> ‘Switch Profile’ –> Choose your profile.
Can I use my own photos in the app?
Yes you can. Click on ‘Settings’ –> ‘Edit’ –> ‘Symbols’
Choose the symbol you’d like to edit and tap the image or text to edit.
You can choose a picture from your device, Take a new picture, Choose from the Ola Mundo library or search the internet.
Can I create or edit categories?
Sure. Click on ‘Settings’ –> ‘Edit’ –> ‘Categories’
Choose the category you’d like to edit or choose ‘Add Category’ to add a new one.
Can I add my own symbols?
Sure. Click on ‘Settings’ –> ‘Edit’ –> ‘Symbols’
Choose ‘Add symbol’ –> Tap anywhere in the symbols area and choose the category you’d like to add the symbol to.
Add a picture and a text and you’re done.
Is there a way to upload more than one symbol at a time?
Currently it is not possible to upload more than one symbol at a time.
How can I use audio to hear the messages?
To hear the messages, simply click on the little pictured circle next to the message.
How do I record my own voice?
Click on ‘Settings’ → Edit (under Library) → Symbols.
On the new screen, choose the ‘Edit Audio’ entry.
To record your own voice, tap the icon you wish to edit.
You’ll hear the current audio for that icon.
Tap and hold the icon in order to record.
The recording will stop once you release your finger.
Tip: When recording, please wait for the recording indication before you start speaking.
Can I edit the recordings?
Sure. Any recording can be edited by following the previous instructions.
